The Chapel of the Cross is an Episcopal parish in the Diocese of North Carolina. Located in the midst of the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the parish has ministered to the university, the local community, the diocese, and beyond since its founding in 1842. Its people dedicate themselves to the worship of God, to seeking and witnessing to God's active presence and grace in the world, to serving those most in need, to forming themselves into faithful servants of God through intentional education, and to the joyful stewardship of their individual and communal resources.
