Pentecost Picnic

The Pentecost Picnic is held most years to celebrate the birth of the Christian church and the dedication of our church school teachers. Music, burgers, birthday cake and a re-telling of the Pentecost story from Acts are included in the afternoon’s activities.

Tickets should be purchased in advance so organizers will know how much food to prepare. There was not a Pentecost Picnic in 2008, due to the fact that Pentecost falls on Mother’s Day and UNC graduation.
