At its October meeting, the vestry

* Authorized the junior warden to sign the car title on behalf of the vestry in order to accept a vehicle for use in the Johnson Intern Program

* Approved the revised policy, dated September 28, 2001, governing the use of a donated vehicle

* Received an update on the Every Member Canvass

* Received a thank you note from the Rev. Timothy Kimbrough for the donation made by the parish to the capital campaign of the Church of the Holy Family

* Learned that the process of determining quarterly distributions of the North Carolina Episcopal Diocese Common Trust Fund has undergone revision and that the 2002 quarterly distribution for the parish will be $16,720.37.

Publication deadlines for "Cross Roads" have been altered to increase the likelihood of it arriving in parishioners' homes before the beginning of the month. Actions from the November vestry meeting will be reported in the January "Cross Roads."
