Ascension Day, one of the seven principal feasts of the liturgical year, will be celebrated at the Chapel of the Cross on May 24 with Solemn Evensong in the church at 8 p.m. featuring the organ music of Messiaen and Langlais, the canticles of Orlando Gibbons; and "Ascendit Deus" by Peter Phillips, and "God Has Gone Up" by Gerald Finzi as anthems.

Holy Eucharist, Rite II, will be celebrated in the chapel at 5:15 p.m.
