Through January 6, the Chapel of the Cross is sponsoring its annual clothing drive for children in the Thompson Children’s Home, a residential care facility for abused and neglected children in protective custody with departments of social services.

Thompson Children’s Home is affiliated with the three dioceses of the Episcopal Church in North Carolina and is the only agency of its kind serving children in North Carolina.

All parishioners are invited to participate in helping provide new clothing for some of our state’s most vulnerable young children. Choose a heart from the display in the dining room, purchase the listed item, and bring it (unwrapped with the heart attached) to the parish office by January 6.

Send items for inclusion in future "Cross Roads."
The deadline is the first Thursday of the preceeding month.
