The Labyrinth is Coming
April 13-18
Gretchen S. Jordan, Christian Education Director

The Chapel of the Cross has joined with five other Chapel Hill congregations to provide a week-long opportunity to walk the labyrinth. This 40’ x 40’ canvas labyrinth patterned after the famous labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral will be at Binkley Baptist Church (at the intersection of highway 15-501 and Willow Drive) during Holy Week, April 13-18.

Children aged 5 and older are encouraged to sign up for an orientation and walk. The first orientation for children will be April 6 at 4 p.m. in rooms 4-5; parents are welcome.

On Tuesday, April 15, a children’s walk will be held from 4:15 to 6:15 p.m. Orientations will be held in the Binkley Fellowship Hall at 4:15 and 5 p.m. A sign-up sheet for these dates is on the bulletin board in our dining room.

A youth walk is set for Sunday, April 13, from 4 to 8 p.m.

On Palm Sunday, April 13, an introduction for adults will be offered at 10:20 a.m. in the parlor.

The labyrinth will be available for adults:
April 14 & 15, 6:30 a.m.-9 p.m.;
April 16, 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m.;
April 17, 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; and
April 18, 6:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
