Kindergarteners through adults
will gather in the Chapel imme-
diately following the 9:00 a.m.
service for activities and a short
introduction to Epiphany and the
Sundays after Epiphany, often referred to as the Season of Epiphany.
Participants (families will remain together) will then dismiss
to specific classrooms in the educational wing to learn about
a particular social ministry program supported by our parish
either with contributions or volunteers.
Gifts will be created
for some of the people who benefit from these programs. These
gifts include bookmarks, baked goods, five-bean soup mix, tray
favors, placemats, and safety/energy packs for Habitat workers.
The social ministry programs to be highlighted include Habitat
for Humanity, the AIDS House, Thompson Children’s Home,
Teens United with Churches, the Inter-Faith Council Community
House and the Inter-Faith Council Crisis Center.
Come learn and create, young and older working together, increasing
the light of Christ in the world!
