Memorial Gift

The stone bench pictured above has been installed in memory of Gladys Coates alongside the paved plaza at the main tower entrance to the church.

It will provide a place for parishioners to wait for ride pick-ups after services, but, of course, it is a pleasant place for anyone to sit in the shade.

Special thanks go to Betsy Pringle for designing the bench, to Bert Liverance and Tom Mander for preparing the concrete footings, and to Durham Marble for installing it at no charge.
