Love in Motion: The 34th Annual Chapel Hill – Carrboro CROP Hunger Walk – Sunday, April 25, 2021
The Walk, now in its 51st year nationally, is a partnership between Church World Service (CWS) and the Inter-Faith Council for Social Service (IFC) and links the community together to raise money to provide food and other resources for people served by CWS and IFC. Twenty-Five percent (25%) of the money raised stays here in Chapel Hill – in Carrboro with the IFC, while CWS receives seventy-five percent (75%) of the funds and uses it for international food support activity. The Chapel of the Cross, a founding member of the IFC, and its parishioners have been supporting the in-person CWS-CROP Hunger Walk for many years. Additional information about how to support and take part in the 2nd Annual Chapel Hill – Carrboro “Virtual Walk” in support of IFC and CWS can be found here.
