As our old pipe organ fades to silence, an investment in a new instrument will renew this foundation and provide a stronger and more capable pipe organ to support our work – and faith.
A team of lay leaders from the parish with expertise in pipe organs has spent more than a year seeking out the best instrument for our parish. They have recommended, and the vestry has approved, a design from Casavant organ builders of Canada (www.casavant.ca). Founded in 1879 and now more than 140 years old, Casavant is highly respected and has built and installed pipe organs across North America and throughout the world. We are excited that this new instrument will allow us to build on the strong foundation of music and liturgy of Chapel of the Cross!
