The Spiritual Life Guild is a lay-led committee which helps provide the parish with opportunities to enrich their spiritual lives throughout the year.
The Guild sponsors our annual Advent and Lenten Quiet Days, helps construct our Celtic worship services, works with staff to plan Adult Formation programs, brings in speakers, and organizes retreats for the parish.
If you would like to join them in this work, please contact Jenny Mabie.
In 2023, the Guild presented a series of programs focused on spirituality and photography. Sister Susan Schorsten, a photographer and member of the Humility of Mary community, showed participants new ways of seeing – first in a Sunday morning presentation and then in a weekend workshop. Martha Hoelzer discussed using camera phones to capture images of the divine.
The 2023 Advent Day of Reflection, entitled Apple Trees, Blooming Roses: How Advent Invites Us into the Natural World, featured the Rev. Dr. Lauren F. Winner and musician Megan Whitted.
