Loaves and Fishes Guild
Through the simple act of offering refreshment in a variety of settings, the Loaves and Fishes Guild nurtures parish hospitality. We can be found every Sunday morning providing either coffee, from September to mid-June, or lemonade, from mid-June to September. In addition, the guild assists with parish-sponsored events that include hospitality and fellowship, such as Easter and Christmas receptions, the annual barbecue, and summer dinners-on-the-grounds.
The sharing of food and drink is a fundamental way in which we develop bonds within our parish family. This act comes so automatically that we don’t even stop to think about it. Yet it is this simple act that allows us an opportunity to share in God’s bounty and share in fellowship that brings us closer together.
We invite you to join us in our work. You will enjoy camaraderie with other parishioners and know you have performed a vital service for the Parish.

Social Hour
You are invited each week following the 11:15 Sunday morning service to enjoy food, fellowship and a hearty welcome to the Chapel of the Cross with old-timers and newcomers alike. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and light refreshment are provided by volunteers. If you have an hors d’oeuvre you’d like to share following the 11:15 service, drop it off in the kitchen before the service. Whether you bring a dish or not, we welcome you to the Social Hour!
