Spring at Orange County Justice United

Justice United is planning for an action-packed spring to ensure that the important commitments that we won together last year turn into real, tangible change for our communities (you can read a wrap-up of our 2022 accomplishments here).  To see how Justice United works, plan on attending our next meeting via Zoom on Tuesday, March 14.

What’s on the Horizon?

At the Countywide Leaders Assembly, you’ll hear more from JU leaders about:

  • Affordable Housing Campaign: Assessment of 2022 property tax assistance program, plan for continuation/improvement in 2023;
  • Mental Health Campaign: Team has secured commitment from Alliance Health to provide an accountability report during our public assembly on Thursday, May 18 (location TBD);
  • Criminal Justice Reform Campaign: Team has secured commitment from District Attorney Jeff Nieman to provide accountability report during May 18 public assembly.
